White Bay sits west of the city past the Anzac Bridge, used by ships too tall for the Harbour Bridge and by most domestic itineraries. It is the easier terminal to reach from our side of Sydney — and ten dollars cheaper than Circular Quay.
The terminal
White Bay is at Rozelle, west of the city centre past the Anzac Bridge. It handles ships that cannot pass under the Harbour Bridge and most domestic and shorter itineraries. There is far more room at the kerb than at Circular Quay and a considerably easier approach — but no rail station within walking distance and unreliable taxi supply, which is exactly why a booked car matters more here than at the Quay.
Because the run out past the Anzac Bridge is easier than the harbour CBD, a White Bay transfer is ten dollars less than Circular Quay — twenty dollars over the Sydney Airport fare from your suburb rather than thirty. Check your ticket for which terminal your ship uses; the same line uses both depending on the vessel.
