Four vehicle classes
Four vehicle classes, sized to the group rather than to a price list. Whichever one you need, the fare is per vehicle, not per person.
Choosing
The honest rule: count the people, then count the large cases, and book for whichever number is higher.
Comfortable for two with full-size luggage, and the vehicle on the overwhelming majority of our early-morning runs over the range. Boot space is the limit rather than seat count — two adults each with a large case and a carry-on is a comfortable sedan job; add a third traveller and it becomes a Carnival.
The family car. Four seats with genuine luggage space behind them, room for a pram without dismantling it, and a step-in height that suits older passengers better than a sedan does. The right choice for three or four travellers with real luggage.
Six seats with a proper luggage area, and the cruise vehicle by default whatever the headcount — cruise passengers carry roughly double what air passengers do, and this is what fits it. Also the vehicle for five or six travelling together on a flight.
Eleven seats and a luggage area rather than a boot. Extended families, tour groups, sporting sides and work crews. One fare covers the vehicle, so eleven passengers pay once — which is almost always less than three separate cars and keeps everyone on the same schedule.
What travels free
Cases, carry-ons and soft bags are part of the fare. There is no per-item charge and no weight limit beyond what the vehicle can safely carry. Tell us roughly what is coming and we will size the vehicle rather than reduce your luggage.
Fitted before we leave and checked before you get in, at no cost. We need the ages at the time of booking rather than on the morning — a capsule is not something a driver can produce on request at 3am.
Golf clubs, snowboards, surfboards, cellos and bicycle boxes all travel, but they change which vehicle we send. Mention them when you book and there is no charge; mention them on the day and we may not have the right vehicle available.
Foldable wheelchairs, walkers and mobility scooters are carried at no extra cost, and assistance animals are always welcome. Tell us what is needed and we will confirm which vehicle suits before you commit to a time.
Tell us the suburb and the flight. We quote in a minute and hold nothing on your card.
These are our own transfers — the van at the Sydney Airport kerb, a full boot of the group’s suitcases, and customers dropped right at their cruise ship.
